I've been stepping my diet up...

stuffed peepers with shredded chicken topped with tomato and sausage.
brown rice
eggplant
12 grain whole wheat bread topped with the leftovers

Would normally have used the more acidic chorizo to top the peppers off but was all out.

We gave up on the working out / diet after a week.

Potato has been bumbing around in Cali the last few weeks.

He's got a new lease and will try again now that we will be eating at home a lot more.

Will start playing hockey again which should knock off at least 15 pounds after a season.

What can you substitute for chili, I don't like that stuff?
Also, isn't it bad to eat that many eggs? :dunno:
I hate that they always load everything with sodium at the store
 
got home from the bar tonight and just ate about a full pound of leftover cheesy mashed potatoes from our Ohio Carnival. Add in another half pound of BBQ pulled pork

prob a nice 2,500 kcal meal.

i'm sure i'll burn it off sleeping. 235 here I come!!!!
 
Reno, have low sodium turkey or grill some chicken breasts with a salad to replace the chili.

Don't use store bought dressing

Use squeezed lemons or 1 or 2 tbsp of olive oil w/ balsamic vinegar for a dressing.

read my post , reno... seasoned(or not) real lean meat, cheese and chili beans mixed with lettuce...carb free taco salad ... i eat it a few times a week

egg Whites are great for you...eating the entire egg is very high in cholesterol... i scramble 1 whole egg with 4-5 egg whites and add hot sauce 3-4 times a week...hight in protein like the taco salad thingy
 
Excellent post rayray but have to throw down a :redx: in reference to cheese

Cheese tastes great and I'm in no way telling people to never eat cheese again but at the end of the day, it's highly processed and should not be a primary food in a lean diet.
 
i agree daffy, the processed cheese is crap for you...american slices are pure shit... but for 100 cals and 6 grams of protein you can get from some shredded sharp cheddar , it goes pretty good with the lean meat if you dont season it...i try not to season too much stuff like that cus of the sodium...and although i dont use much cheese for anytihng at all besides that meal, those keto guys eat the fuck of it and swear by it...they must still be young with great metabolism....me, nope... i pound a hydroxycut every morning and afternoon to help my shit speed up...

whatever you do potato, don't eat the pastrami sandwich at the deli next to sportsbook at treasure island. they give you like two pounds of beef with bread and a pickle. Tastes good but almost killed me last time. I do love a good cheese steak :up:
