A kangaroo was at my neighours pool yesterday! It was 110 degrees here and the wildlife were coming into the suburbs for water. She has a vid of this beast leaning over dunking it's head in and then laying down full stretch alongside the pool sticking it's tongue in. Bloody shit myself. You can buy these little instruments that supposedly scare the 'roos off but they're as useful as a chocolate teapot. Stupid thing looked like it was at Club Med.

They're pretty vicious. Especially the females... even if they don't have their babies with them they'll boot the snot out of you if they're unhappy. I kind of compare them to moose back home. If they're in a mood to be friendly and are just a bit hungry, then they can be sweet. Some sickos even try to keep them as pets at home until the day they turn around and kick them in the gut. But if they have their kids in the pouch, are starving or just think you're being aggro they'll tune you. And they're quick too so you're kind of screwed.
