And they deserve it after Manual's WTF move last night! Please bear with me on having to vent here! TY kindly!

Bottom of 7th 2-2 game! Pierre and Rollins get on with no outs and perfect time for sac bunt by Mayberry with heart of order coming up (Victorino, Pence, Wiggs) It's the only move possibly, right? Takes ball one after showing bunt! Manual takes off bunt and guy hits soft fly to shallow right that does nothing! Of course Vic then hits ground ball that would score run if infield back or probably get through to outfield if playing up!

Out of the 6 players I mentioned Mayberry (2 RBI for the year) would have been the perfect guy to waste the sac with! A perfect storm situation! Unreal! No runs scored that frame!

Well now we go the bottom of the 8th and as fate would have it, same situation where first 2 guys get on and no outs! Now you have Polanco (guy known for great bat control) who with the infield again looking for the play it by the numbers bunt and he sacs the guys to 2nd and 3rd! Why would this have been the time to go away from the norm and let Polly hit away? Read next paragraph!

But wait, now we have Freddy Galvis 3 RBIs last whatever games hitting below .200 and of course he hits the most automatic out there is other than a KK in a slow grounder back to the pitcher who easily throws out the runner at home! Of course the only guy left to PH next is Eric Kratz who has a MLB career average of .140 in 43 total ABs!

This kinda resembles how I might bet plays after looking at the numbers and still going with a hunch! Won't work more times than it does! And then say MF just goes by the numbers and comes out ahead over the long haul!

No problem though cause even if the Phillies can at least get in as the 5th placed team I know they'll have a quality starting pitcher going for them in the 1 game playoff! :up:
 
Sorry buddy but as of right now the Phils are not in the cellar! Might be back there by the end of the night but presently the stinking fish occupy it! Dafty!!!!!!!!!!

:lmao: Ozzie says guys get their heads out of their butts and start playing. Sage advice. Hope they pick it up soon. They are capable of going on big run at any time (See May) but can't afford to keep slipping in standings.
