They have a somewhat decent schedule in July, but I doubt they'll be able to make up much ground at all.
You are probably right, but the teams ahead of them haven't proven that they can maintain over 162 games. Hope they can at least make a nice run.Chances are, you won't see them sniffing first place or the playoffs the rest of the year.
CY over at SP bought tickets for Friday's game on Stubhub, 1st row by the foul pole, $3.49 each.

I see MF'r went out on a gigantic limb and predicted the last place Marlins wouldn't sniff first place

you like Stubhub FW?
You can do this at any MLb ballpark a few hours before the game. Try it for Yankee home games. StubHub changed the game.
The locals go to see Stanton, Reyes and Ruggiano. That's about it.
I booed Hanley and Heath Bell so much yesterday at the ballpark that I still have no voice.
Now if you told me your fingers were unable to type anything, then I say happy days are here! !
Boys, Miami should have signed the young Cuban kid to give the locals something to rally behind!
Very pleased the Marlins didn't give 9 million a year to a guy who's never faced MLB pitching.
9 million is nothing for no MLB experience? And for a guy who got pulled out of Winter League because he was horrific?
It's not sour grapes on my part. I'm genuinely happy Miami didn't pay 9 million for 4 years.
He's going to be (by far) the highest paid player on the A's.
