Turns out, I'm really, horribly out of shape. 55 flights (out of 144) into the CN Tower climb, my legs couldn't take it anymore. Had to stop 2 minutes, climb another 15 flights, stop 2 minutes, 15 more flights.

We got a spreadsheet with everyone's time that day. Out of 3000+ climbers, I beat 350 of them. :

Never again.

Sorry for the lack of a shout out video but we got our iPhones confiscated. We were warned that they weren't allowed but we tried to smuggle them in anyway. Just before entering the tower, we had to go through a full pat-down, like the secondary screening they do at the airport when you trigger the main metal detector.

My time ain't so bad if I compare to the "corporate climb" times. I did the public/student climb with a bunch of clean-living 20-somethings who probably own nothing but sports/fitness clothes.
