lol

147 stories in 10 minutes is crazy fast.

When I was living in that high-rise in Montreal I'd take the stairs daily. After a couple months I was down to 2 minutes for a mere 20 stories. That's a 15-minute pace.

I was going as fast as I could, on the verge of puking.

But never mind me.

I lived in the 20th story of a high-rise also. I got down to the 2-3 minutes range as well.

In Sao Paulo once in a while you hear in the news of old people that need assistance cause the elevator gets broken and they start feeling bad while climbing. Lots of the buildings from the 60s and 70s are run down or not taken care of as well. City with the most high rises in the world.

It's awesome.

it's huge, technically illegal but everybody looks the other way

streetwalkers are pretty much allowed, whorehouses allowed, strip joints, escorts

they only do bust when there's minors and too much drugs involved

$25 is around the fair price, without going below to the crack head levels, for streetwalkers

over time a lot of streets and zones have been designated as for prostitution, it's like that through the country. in Campinas which is a city in the same state of SP there is this famous zone, nothing unusual but it's huge like 7 blocks of open air whorehouses, pretty surreal first time you see it (Jardim Itatinga in Campinas). in Belo Horizonte there's this famous 5 story building and all the rooms in all the floors are whorehouses, like a mega whorehouse :) forgot the name now.

trannies are as common as regular jineteras. brazil is the land of trannies.

ain't no thang
