I was being a bit silly there. Toronto is 99% English so yes, I do speak English almost exclusively since I moved here. I interact with French people over the phone and email, but not on a daily basis.

English is very much a second language. I started learning it in school at the age of 8 or 9.

My mother moved to France, she speaks it. I cannot to save my life. I learned how to say some farm animals, that's about it.

Serious question here. Let's say you are riding the subway and you start thinking about anything. Do you think in french or english? When talking to coworkers do you think in french when you are about to respond to them? Do you ever think in english or is it always french? Let's say you are having a fight with your gfriend. Are you thinking in french and speaking in english? Do you ever lip off to her in french? Does she know how to speak french? Lots of questions, but I am curious.
