Yeah, I have to agree. There are countless girls I thought would be hotter if they had tits.

In the case of my sisters, I'm not even really talking about making them "hotter". I'm talking about correcting a physical characteristic that would be one of the first things people notice (men especially) when meeting them throughout their lives. "Damn, that girl's flat as hell." Don't tell me that hasn't gone through any of your minds before. It's a negative connotation and like I said can subliminally affect a woman to her detriment. If you can eliminate that ever happening to your daughter, and you have $10k laying around to do so, might not you consider it as a parent? I would, especially if my daughter was convinced that it would make her feel better about herself.

You act like being flat is like missing an eyeball. And I didn't say "hotter." I said "hot."

You also think Herman is hot. End of story. Jello 0, MF 0.

And you don't? Have you ever seen this pic?

Not at all. I've repeatedly referred to subliminal concerns at the least. It's about an overall perception that a woman would be more comfortable with her body and feel judged less harshly if she didn't have severely underdeveloped breasts.

We're not going to find any common ground on this - which is to say you are not going to give an inch - as that appears to be the salient theme in any debate with you. So I'll bow out here because I'm tired of the discussion. I was simply trying to bring a different perspective to the conversation that might not have otherwise been represented.

Just answer one question, please. How is the insecurity of underdeveloped breasts any different than that of a huge, crooked nose? Then maybe I can understand where you're coming from.

It's not really. I know a few Jewish girls who's parents had their noses fixed at an early age and it was a good thing for them. What's your stance on braces? They are, in general, purely cosmetic... are they not?

I guess I draw the line at correcting perceived flaws that cause self-conscience insecurities, as opposed to just outright enhancements per se. Maybe it's sort of like the old definition of pornography - I know it when I see it.

I'm in Ybor...a party district of Tampa. Robyn is taking a bit to get ready...so I went out alone....wearing half my crazy outfit for tonight...including bunny rabbit ears.

So I'm getting ready to leave this bar...and 25 or so waitress comes up and says that when i fist walked in, she loved my rabbit ears and thought they were adorable.

Instead of going with the flow, I went for the jugular.

I said "Yea they're my Jesus ears"

She sais "Jesus ears?"

I said "Yea on Easter Sunday Jesus rose from the dead and laid eggs for all the good boys and girls"

She shook her head no and looked disgusted.

I said "No?"

She said "No."

I said "Well hold on! The eggs were made of chocolate!"

She walked away horrified.

That is a true story btw. lol i was so excited about it I called Robyn right away to tell her!

You're my new hero.

Monkey, I'm pretty much with you on every point in this thread. But I feel a need to point out that this is not necessarily a religious issue. There is some legitimacy (outside of religious irrationality) to the theory that life begins at the point of conception. I don't take a stand on this issue one way or the other, but I respect both sides of the dispute.

I'm hardcore. Not even pro-choice. I'm pro death. If the little bastards are somehow clever enough to survive until age five, they can stay.
