Is it also not illegal to disqualify someone because of their race? Because that is what happened here. The qualified white male was not hired due to his race. Which according to being an Equal Opportunity Employer is illegal.
 
there are quite a few jobs in non-profits in the inner city or schools, that a black man will get just for showing up. even if it is a job that requires a master's level piece of paper and they are only in undergrad.

You're in Toronto pal. By Toronto standards, I don't even have an accent.

I was sitting in a meeting last week - one guy was from Belarus, another from Moldova, two more were of the brown-brown persuasion (India and/or Pakistan, I have no idea) and the last one was from Nigeria.

We don't even have quotas to fill. We hire whoever works best and within the budget.

I am geographically retarded. Where the hell are Belarus and Moldova? They sound like Russian car companies.
 
Moldova is the smaller green smudge, Belarus the other one. Both are fine producers of socially awkward, competent & affordable computer programmers. Ping pong skills are intermediate.
