The Man Formerly Known as Mr. Nina bought an Mac Air about three weeks ago. He is a convert and now cringes when he sees my Dell. However, Casper, he has spent over 5K on his. They may work extremely well but they are pricey. And with icloud his phone, ioad and computer are all synced.

you're paying for a product, not the name.

it's the endless debate but Mac's are made with higher quality materials and therefore go longer before the little things begin to go wrong.

also, the learning curve is about 2 weeks for a Mac

Casper, buy a MacBookAir. You can buy the small one for $899. If you buy an iPad you'll have nothing to sync it to.

Woah, hey! If you want to get under dafty's skin just mention Apple in a negative light. I agree that it is a superior product, but don't tell me that you are not paying more because of the name.

LOL. I think it's hilarious what Apple people are made to believe.

You can buy two normal laptops for that price.

I just bought an HP Pavilion DV7 with a quad core AMD/6 GB Ram/640 GB HDD/17" display and everything you could possibly want for $499. It would only cost me about $2000 for a comparable Mac.

Macs are for people who don't know any better.

a fanboy is someone who acts like another person attacked their family if they say something bad about an apple product

you decide whether you fit into that category. daft has made it clear that he does

Yeah my reaction to Mac talk is EXACTLY the same as when someone in my family gets attacked.

Enigma, continue doing what you do; contributing nothing to Gamelive except popping into threads to make sarcastic comments.

MF'r

The way the thread title looked to me was that Casper was asking what Mac product to purchase. So I offered my .02

Read the thread title again.

Again, this turned into Mac sucks thread. How does that always happen?

If you like HP's more power to you man. I'm sure it's a nice machine but how do these threads always dissolve into the same old tired debate?

MF'r, when you start 80% of your posts with "LOL", are you actually LOL'ing or is that a bad posting habit that you need to kick?
