The biggest ripoff is the strip buffets. You can't go for less than $25 (for a shitty one) on the strip any more.

It's ridiculous. I don't even know how they stay in business honestly.

I got a comp for the Excalibur buffet about 3 months ago. I will never go back. It's like eating at a soup kitchen. Shit food and no variety.

Never been much of a buffet fan, but Stations and Coasts have good, reasonable buffets.
 
yep, I've had that too. I'll only eat those buffets when I have em comped. But the Coasts buffet I will actually pay for if needed, it's under $10 and pretty good.

It's pretty amazing, I guess they figure the tourists don't mind overpaying for crap. New Orleans food was overpriced too. All about fleecing the tourist. Benny Bininon's philosophy is long dead in Vegas. A shame
 
Yeah. Far too corporate with no long term outlook. They get them here and try to suck them dry as much as they can.

It has to turn a lot of people off to coming back - especially people that haven't been here for years and know how it used to be.
 
Seems that the corporations will kill off the goose that laid the golden egg. But they don't care, if they ruin Vegas and it turns back into an empty desert they will just move on to the next hot thing, adult diapers perhaps:dunno:
