Nothing here yet really except rain and it's chilly. Will let kitty out before the winds start and then bring her back in for the night. She is so tiny I fear she might just blow away!! Not really worried about it, prepared, just not worried, I am banking on loosing power though, happens easy in this area. Lots of schools and business closed today, not much work wise going on because everyone is preparing for it. *sigh*

Indeed! But wind not real bad presently but all the local newscasts calling for widespread power outages that might take at least a few days to repair! I mean my whole life the only outage we endured was maybe 5-7 hours at most for a traffic accident that took down some pole!

Our house won't be flooded no matter how much rain but the WIND is the scary part! My guess is like 1 in 50 people have generators round here! If that! :dunno:

The biggest problem with power outage is the food in your fridge gets spoiled. Buy lots of canned food and snacks.

We have plenty of snacks and bread for pb and jelly! MrsM not a can food person so not much to choose from! Major supermarket closed today and Tuesday and this place never closes! Was there yesterday and essential shelves were bare so probably can't get any additional product in so why stay open when people were told to stay inside! Batteries were non-exsisted!

Those trees in your backyard can break easily. I remember how they used to swing from just the regular wind. mister monkey hide in the basement near the washing machine.

Really! I told my son the whole family hanging downstairs (his domain) tonight and he said no way! He probably give in to MrsM and Peanut but not me!

Funny when MrsM called home while in FLA he said give Peanut a kiss and "your husband" a slap cross the face! LOL! By saying it I guess he keeps hoping I'm not his father!
 
man, everyone in this town is in panic mode! We remembered that we had failed to buy non-parishable items. So I went and got some, and I will tell you what, people are buying the store out, it was crazy! Glad I finally have everything I need. I can sit back and enjoy the show!
