yes what about the Monkeys? Has anyone heard from them?

We're fine Nina! Lost power Monday at 6:30 PM and got partial power back around 6PM last night! Don't have heat yet and using extension cords cause only certain wall sockets work! Few trees down but luckily nothing hit the house!

The Jersey Shore is a mess and neighbor who moved down there in 2011 doesn't know if his house will be there when he is allowed back into town! Funny cause electric company worker (sent up from Arkansas) just now knocked on door and said a crew probably will be here by nightfall to restore full power! We feel real fortunate! Thanks for asking my dear!

Here are before and after pics to show an example of devastation along the jersey shore!

Now this, we shouldn't be affected being inland but the shoreline always has some problems with these!

One week after Superstorm Sandy clobbered parts of the Northeast seaboard, the worst-affected areas are still struggling to return to some sense of normalcy.

As of early Monday morning, at least 1.6 million were still without power in the Northeast. This is a remarkable drop from the peak of roughly 8.6 million one week ago.

Now, a coastal storm, known as a nor'easter, is poised to bring yet more high winds, rain, coastal flooding, even snow to parts of the Northeast, the absolute last thing that's needed at this point.
