You know what? I didn't. I guess I'm a sucker or a softie or something - or I am just averse to making a big fussy scene - but whatever, I paid the regular amount for the cut - and gave a $10 tip to Janet who came to my rescue.

ahem

excuse me

but we are talking hookers and strippers here......

please get your OWN thread

good luck on your interview

Tried a new barber today. An actual barber. Dude was so professional. He was an older foreign guy you could tell had been in the biz for decades.

He cut the hair and trimmed the ears and eyebrows, then he put lather all around the back and over the ears and shaved it with a straight razor. My life was in his hands but he was steady as a surgeon. Nice job.

He was fast too. No dilly-dallying. And I came out of it smelling good. Not flowery good, manly good. Now I know how a man's haircut is really supposed to go.

First Choice haircutters - never again!

Yeah this guy's name was not one of those but something in the ballpark. Hang on, lemme check . . .

Namik.

It was not as close as First Choice and I think it was about $1.30 more but fuck it, I am investing the extra pocket change and 10 minutes from now on.

This is a success story here folks.

I go to an old school barber shop myself and there's nothing like the feeling of a professional, no nonsense haircut.

Muddy, what's the weather like on top of that mountain, sir?

Some of you may be relieved to know that I'm getting my haircut once every 3 weeks now instead of once a week. We're going low
maintenance for winter boys.

Still very happy with the decision to switch the hell away from First Choice Haircutters to a proper barber for men.

I have been going to a place called Vince's for quite awhile now. Once a month. The quality of haircut is 10 billion percent better. It even costs slightly less (although I tip more so that is a wash). These old guys, even though they do so much more in terms of shaving around the edges and whatnot, are so smooth and experienced at their job, it is faster.

I must have had 6 different guys do my hair there and they are all the same ----> solid as fok.

Only thing is First Choice is quite a bit closer. But screw that.

Making great decisions ---> it's what I do. (and it only takes me 20 years or thereabouts)

That's funny. about 2.5 years ago I was stuck for a haircut for my oldest boy and decided to to to First Choice. Holy fuck. My poor boy looked like the girl put a bowl over his head. She kind of looked like a skid so maybe she was cutting skid style. I don't know.
