fair points. Certainly Romney seems ridiculous, and I do believe as I wrote in another thread he could have lead us into a major international problem through sheer ignorance. But I have no faith that a Democrat during the Bush era would have avoided Iraq or Afghanistan. Obama's and Clinton's records on war and human rights are horrendous.

Perhaps Obama pushes for more environmental regulation, but it seems like a drop in the bucket. The problem is not one you can slowly address over 100 years.

There is just so many better alternatives possible that don't even come near the debate between these candidates.

Reno, I'd like to point you to this little bit you may have missed. Remember when Romney said Russia was our greatest threat? Guess it turns out Romney was right, even though he was a very poor candidate at best. And as for Obama his foreign policy couldn't be worse. I don't even think you could TRY to fuck it up and do worse.

For a second when it looked like Romney had more electoral(?)votes I got a little worried that if this guy gets elected he's gonna get us in some serious WWIII type shit internationally. The guy seemed totally clueless on foreign affairs. We may have postponed armageddon boys.

And then there was this little exchange, which, I know Durito isn't around to defend himself but :lmao: at the illegal immigration issue being for "retards only"

Whoops

A bunch. Abortion, gay marriage, the economy, illegal immigration, entitlement spending

Sorry those are for retards only.

Not sure why Russia is a threat. The West overthrew the democratically elected president of Ukraine and install some puppets and Putin is supposed to go along and let the ethic Russians in East Ukraine get slaughtered?

Russia is not going to let NATO overtake Ukraine and have them at their border. It's a natural security threat to them and will not hesitate to go to war to defend their border.

No POTUS has ever declared war on Russia because they know they will lose.

All I'm saying (in general) is that to dismiss Russia as Obama did was not only short-sighted but incredibly ignorant.

And it's pretty obvious the foreign policy situation between the USA and Russia has gotten worse, not better.

I'd say we've definitely taken a step backwards in that relationship.
