An Iranian court has sentenced four people to death for a billion-dollar bank fraud that tainted the government of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, state media has reported.

Of the thirty-nine people tried for the fraud, the biggest in the country's history, four were sentenced to hang, the IRNA state news agency reported on Monday.

Two people were sentenced to life and others received jail sentences of up to 25 years, Mohseni-Ejei said. In addition to jail time, some were sentenced to flogging, ordered to pay fines and banned from government jobs.

Really hoping for Golds for Walsh/May and Rogers/Delhausser in Beach Volleyball. Beach Volleyball and the States really had a parting of ways over the past few years but these two teams when healthy have been extremely dominant for a very long time. Walsh and May go for their 3rd Gold which is ridiculous and Rogers and Delhauser go for their 2nd which hasn't been done; crazy that Karily didn't even do that. I'll be rooting for all four teams but only these two have a chance, I think only May and Walsh will do it Brazil (Alison Cerutti and Emanuel Rego) is too much on the Men's side.

ive been getting a lot in play on olympics but mostly originating. its funny when i bet the line moves then later on it moves further in my direction. then the bet loses. every time. my only explanation is those pesky asians with money trees reverse engineer my plays(they must have pinny AIM screen names hacked) and are pumping them further to further raise my confidence so I donk my entire bankroll into the kitty and they eventually take it all. then they rinse, repeat. shit I think i just figured out what j7 was talking about.
