My iPad hasn't even arrived yet and I already regret wasting my points on it. Could've cashed in for 500 Euros, bought one of the cheapos that the guys on here have been talking about for ages and still had cash left over. Now I've been stuck hunting for an overpriced bullet/toddler proof case that probably still won't protect it from his grubby paws and am pissed I got sucked in. Not happy Jan.

She loves playing with it, but I've had hidden for a while now, I don't think it's a great idea at her age. She mostly just watched sesame street videos on youtube, but she figured out how to do that by herself. Now she tries to move stuff off the tv with her hand :(

What we did with our girls is gave them our old clamshell non-working phones and bought princesses toy laptops. So when we use our cell phones and laptops they play with theirs.

Just over 2.5. But he's crazy when it comes to electronics of any sort. I don't know how he figures this stuff out because I don't teach him it. Especially with anything Apple. It's like it's built for toddlers. Problem is his gentle phase only kicks in with his cheapo Thomas laptop. Anything that actually costs decent money, he just hammers. :sad:

Really I only wanted it for the plane and to hopefully play some games with him that wouldn't involve him hammering a keyboard. Maybe I'll hide it too until just before we're ready to leave. I don't want him to be one of those cracked out iPad kids just yet. Bad enough he figured out how to buy 30 of Talking Tom's friends on my phone because I saved my iTunes info like a dingus.

Kids are smart these days. My daughter knows how to turn the volume on the TV from the screen so if she is watching cartoons and I talk loud on the phone she turns it up!

haha that's how I know he's awake if we both take a nap together. I hide the remotes but if suddenly the tv is blaring playschool, it's time to get up. I actually sent LG an email a few weeks ago to ask if there was a way to stop those buttons from working or at least lock them for a bit but I haven't heard back yet.
