Really enjoy the sunny skies and low population. Still getting used to being the only car at a stop sign or intersection when driving.

(Estevan) Sask is very pleasant and quite different than the big city.

Hookers are far less hard core than back east.

If I could speak French and land a half decent job I'd move to Montreal tomorrow. Toronto is a very expensive city to live in. I'd be disappointed if I'm still in Toronto 7 or 8 years from now.

Ok got the official word, starting Friday at my new gig operating a water truck near Stoughton Sask

Will be living in a camp (aka "shack") for weeks at a time on a service rig site, full internet/Satellite TV/Cooking/Laundry etc etc.

Wage is a flat rate of $295 per day and the "work" isn't difficult or physically demanding, the first day on a new site is busy but after that its less than 2 hours work per day.

It's a good gig for a single guy thats for sure, no expenses, a place to live, and a nice paycheque.
I understand why someone with a family wouldn't find it attractive as you would be away from home for weeks at a time but this suits me perfectly.
