With all honesty Mathieu, I don't think Montreal is a shithole. I've never been to "Old Montreal" but I do hear it's a nice spot.

Old Montreal has become very pretentious. Multi-million-dollar condos and lofts on top of the restaurants and art galleries. Food is amazing though.
Toronto isn't a shithole. It's a nice mess like Montreal in many ways.

Wait, those Chinese foks at the tea place in Markham were incredibly rude and obnoxious. That was the worst service I ever got. Waitresses were all cute as hell though, and I rarely like Asians.
