Baidu heat map showing travel within China for Lunar New Year holiday, created by data gathered from smart phones through use of the location-based Baidu Maps mobile app. They say Lunar New Year in China is the largest annual mammalian migration on Earth, with 3.6 billion passenger trips estimated to be made across all modes of transportation during the 40-day holiday period.
