I will give you arrogant but they have the least control over a game, other than balls and strikes, compared to hoops and foots. So tired of the studs of the NBA get away with everything and hardly foul out. Nba is my least favorite sport for sure. Foots umps can also have more to do with control of the game with the call or non call on pass interference, a joke imo, or holding calls late in the game.
Was very impressed with the change of the call last night and for whatever reason it seemed the Cards were like deer in the headlights. Will they respond tonight? My guess is Boston again as their lineup has more pop and can score in bunches. Wacha has been lights out but he is so young he will have to have some jitters tonight. As FW stated Lackey has been very good this year

That's what I'm saying! Do it all the time and life will be good! You could tell M Matheny was just working the umps saying OK, you guys started a precedent tonight, make sure it continues throughout the series! Wouldn't be surprised the first call going against the Cards and he will be out on the field ASAP!
