They are the team my father has cheered for since he came to Canada in 1954.

The Leafs are my hometown team, it's the team I have watched since I was a toddler, pal.

Being a Leaf fan is plenny o fun, Leafs have the biggest fan base of any club in the NHL and there are always lots of Leaf jerseys at road games.

And we are used to losing.

I'll give you credit, there is an immense base of die-hard fans here. I can't believe they manage to sell out ACC every fokken game. Y'all like to witness utter mediocrity.

20 years ago "playing a great series" wouldn't be nearly enough for the Habs or their fans.

Since they have accomplished nothing since 1993 they will now celebrate and be satisfied with a good series.

How times have changed.

Habs are a mediocre team and have been for quite some time now.
