Hockey was already in America Blit. Bettman tried and failed miserably by putting and moving teams to non-hockey markets like Phoenix, Columbus, Nashville, Atlanta etc. Quebec city should have been where Atlanta moved to. This is a hockey market, but the Canadian dollar in the 80's-90's killed the team.

Winnipeg's market is as big as Quebec's. Now I'm not sure why Bettman requires a new, bigger arena in Quebec and not in Winnipeg - the MTS Centre only seats 15k, just like the Colise.

Hockey needs to be back in Quebec city. The frenchies (Quebec) are rabid hockey fans and that's what the NHL needs. I love Quebec when it comes to hockey and their hot as fuck women.
