Don't tell anyone this (especially Pucky), but I actually like the NHL the way it is.

It's one of the few sports I'll still watch and enjoy.

Oh. I wouldn't mind it being turned into MLB either. That's another sport I don't mind watching.

Actually, I think those are the only two sports I don't mind watching.

I have friends in Ft Erie and family in Niagara Falls Ontario that cross into NY state 2-3 times a week for less than an hour and come back, usually to fill up on fuel and buy groceries as the prices in the US are much better.

Many come over from Windsor to Detroit games also. The arena is next to the Tunnel.

LOL. The NHL is fine right now, but does need a few tweaks and maybe a few less teams. I've said this all along that kids coming out of Jr, with the exception of 1 -2 players per NHL team, should be forced to play 1 -2 season(s) in the AHL to further their development. Far too often you see kids rushed into the NHL and they end up being busts. The game is fast and the players are bigger, but there are still issues with diving, hooking and holding. Basically slowing the game down. It would be nice to see wider ice surfaces. Maybe not Olympic wide, but a little wider than it is right now. It'll never happen, but whatever.

All the time RJ. When the Leafs are in town, I would bet more than half the fans in attendance are Leaf fans. When they are not in town, I would say close to 40% (maybe even 50%) of the fans in attendance are Canadian.
