Who Has Seen Wicked?

Fiancee is seeing if for like the 4th time tonight.

I'm not big on musicals or anything on stage. Partly because i'm hard of hearing, and I get lost alot. I wish those things had captions.

But, I'm kind interested in seeing this one, as I was a fan of the wizard of oz growing up

any thoughts?

I have not seen it nor heard the music. I imagine I would see it if I had the chance. I like many musicals.

I saw Wicked in NYC about a year ago. It was a good performance, I use to hate musicals, but they have been growing on me lately.

It is a great thing to take a girl to, and even if the musical sucks, at least you know you are getting laid later that night.

I read the book a few years back. It's an alternate take on what really happened in Oz. Bread took me to see the musical about 8 months ago. Loved it.

I saw Wicked twice (business related and wife) in NYC. The second time I saw it, Ben Vareen and Rue McClanahan were in it. I highly recommend checking it out.

I know Ben Vereen best from the groundbreaking mini-series Roots. My gawd I imagine a lot of people here will not know of Roots. It was such a big deal at the time - however the time was 1977.

I saw Ben Vereen just last week in a rerun of Star Trek: The Next Generation. He was playing Geordie Laforge's father. Geordie Laforge was played by Levar Burton - who was Kunte Kinte in Roots.

I haven't heard his name in years.

I saw the Aussie version of Wicked about 6 months ago. Very awesome show.
