I just remembered that I have a $250 Southwest voucher I have to use by April. They have some non-stops for about $260 total. Who is definitely going? Can anyone suggest a clean, centrally located hotel? I've never been to New Orleans.

We always stay in an historic old fashioned one like the ones seen here. But there are plenty of Hiltons and things like that as well.

are you looking for something in the french quarter?

i would recommend either hotel monteleone (kind of an old fashioned one one block off of bourbon street) or hampton in on carondelet street (carondelet street is actually bourbon street).
