Best bet is fly into Buffalo for cheap and drive across Niagara. Pretty drive till you get to the boarder.. Things get weird after that.

Most weekends have ytz on a number of weekends for 203-219... buf is 178 at best...$25-41/pp to save 4hrs driving. Yes please.

Car is a bad idea, traffic is terrible at all times in the downtown core. From YTZ there is a shuttle to Union Station and a bunch of streetcars within a short walking distance.

Best to cab it to your hotel from the airport, then use public transit to get around.

Oh. Not sure that public transit reaches that far. Rexall Centre is basically across town, way north. It's not even Toronto anymore.

Express routes from the subway to York University .

Yeah, but he's much better off flying into YYZ and renting a car if he's going to go to Rexall Centre. Avoid the downtown core entirely.
