What is the point of having different personalities at different forums?

Blitty, the fact that this even exist isn't a strike? It isn't calling someone out?

Coug's obviously wouldn't have made a supposed strike calm or otherwise had he not felt outed by this thread right?

I mean it isn't like he was at another forum and talking shit about this forum or it's members or anything.

I'm the same here or anywhere else as I am in real life but if I wanted to test the waters for something different I would do it in a place I had less respect for.

Archie, perhaps my thread title was too vague. None of your examples relate to how I was thinking. I am confused as to why coug would share certain personal stories/videos with sbr, and his reasoning for not sharing that same info with GL is that it 'wouldn't make sense here'. Also he made a fairly not-so-calm strike towards me when I posted that thread.

Blitty, you have may have missed the jist of the post.

I don't tell the same stories to all my circles of friends in real life, internet ect,

you understand your audience and you typically make adjustments to the way you act, NOT your personality..

I have old ladies that I visit in the old folks home... that is part of who I am. they tell me stories I tell them stories I wouldn't act the same with them as I would with my 20-somthing bachelor guy friends.

I tell the old ladies about my family and girlfriend

I tell the guy friends about sex


believe it or not. the only thing sbr and gamelive has in come is that they are on the internet. and most of the posters gamble alot.

we don't even talk about gambling alot.

but its a different demographic

if coug's felt he wanted to post a video there because those friends at sbr would appreciate it.....cool

he is under no obligation to have to post that video to every other forum that he visits on the internet. and he doesn't have to give reasons for it.

its not like the guy is hiding somthing. the line of questioning seems odd and hardly worth of a thread.

but that's what great about forums in life and on the web. the poster/person gets to choose what they present, where, how and why.
 
Archie, I just watched the vid and for the first time noticed his wrist cut scars. I started a thread asking him how and why it happened. Why is that such an odd question?

I have a feeling that dumber threads have been started before.
 
Well then his first response should have said 'I don't feel like discussing that here", instead of:

"I do vids there for there and here for here"

"I really should have included you in the new one

But now I remember why I forgot".


I don't think the snippy response was necessary.

Also I was curious as to whether anyone else had the same thought process.
 
I thought the opening question was legit and interesting. I don't see myself posting differently on any forum. IMO the "different crowd" argument doesn't apply to SBR vs. Gamelive. We're very much the same kinda retards. Just less retarded.

They probably are wondering when you are gonna tell them a sex story.
Most of them are still interested in sex and may even have experienced it in an earlier part of their lives.

Archie you are a mean fukk, why would you deprive an old lady of a naughty sex story?

I'm not talking about the first thread.... I wasn't really around for that..... but that does seem to be a bit of an insensitive way to go about that thread as well....

earlier I was referring to this thread. which didn't really seem to mention any specific poster until I asked.


I mean, why did this thread morph into an issue about cougar when it was so vague to begin with. Why didn't you just ask cougar in the beginnining of the thread more directly?
 
I was trying to do him a favor and let that thread die, since I regret posting the vid in there. I know anyone can post whatever they want. I am a little disappointed that he doesn't think that the vid wouldn't make sense to us or that we wouldn't enjoy the vid/story as much as sbr would.

IF for some reason I did notice one of your stories in a thread over there and then asked you about it in a thread here, would you tell me that you are upset and not gonna feature me in your forum salute?
