What is going on up there in Canada?

Tried to send a package to BC today and was informed that I could only send it Global Guaranteed due to Canadian postal strike. What are they striking for and how long will it take to be resolved? Please advise.

Strike is over.

They were on strike but were legislated back to work starting today.

Everything will be back to normal starting Tuesday (tomorrow).

A Unions purpose is good, it's application is often not.

Without Unions many workers wouldn't have a fair shake. Sure the government could step in but you want less Government not more. I agree that many Unions are run poorly and many Union members take serious advantage of situations but like with anything a few bad eggs ruin a good thing.
