Tomato needed to be dropped off at McCarran to buy his ticket home. On our final 500 yards, Potato gets pulled over for "rolling a stop sign" (we came to a stop and even looked at the cop, who was 150+ yards away from ced stop sign).

Cop asks for license, Potato hands him his license, registration, and proof of insurance. Cop asks if he gets over a lot because he had everything ready for him. This was the first time since 2007 that Potato was pulled over.

Waits 10+ minutes, gets a citation which includes a court date in 4 MONTHS. Made Potato sign something and said "signing this is not an admission of guilt". Cop also mentioned something about traffic school.

GameLive, we come to you seeking advice on what to do. Except Daft who will probably say "you're at fault, pay the ticket".
 
Fight it in court.

If you can't win just waste the courts time and ask the officer dumb questions while he is on the stand.

You should probably watch a few Perry mason episodes first or Matlock.
 
Uh yeah man from the sound of it that's total BS.

I had a Memorial Day ticket where I was doing like 105 in a 65 and I simply showed up to court and they gave me the minimum ticket. I didn't have to even give an account of what happened the officer asked "you're looking for a smaller ticket?" I said yeah and the judge said he liked a wing place near where I live and we all shook hands. They like for you to stroke their dicks by showing up, dress nice imo.

Judges that have to work these "cases" must want to shoot themselves in the face 100x daily.

As for the OP - how much is the ticket and how much is your time worth?

Do the math and act accordingly.

Judges don't work traffic court cases in Ontario, it's usually a justice of the peace.

Appeals are heard by judges, that clean up the mess the JP's create.
 
I didn't rate the thread and I don't recall seeing the background check thread.

Potato is notorious for starting threads only to never to be seen again in said thread (calling on back up here, boys) so that could be the reason I didn't respond to the background check thread.

The 17 paragraph post I made in regards to helping you with weight loss appeared to be basically shrugged off by you.

Good luck with the citation. In Florida, if you get a stop sign ticket you don't have to appear in court. We feel we're not getting the whole story here so we won't be commenting.

Potato also never answers questions.

So getting the whole story is likely impossible.

We hope the couch he lives on is comfortable.
