They were a Canadian band in the late 70's called Goddo. The lead singer Greg Goddovitz went to university with my uncle. At one point they were as big as you could make it in Canada.

I'd have to say AJ is exaggerating a bit there about Goddo's footprint. At least with people I knew, we were aware of Goddo but no one really cared about them.

I remember them more as something that was forced on the masses due to Canadian Content regulations.

I think they even played at my high school once.

I remember seeing them at the Canadian World music Festival with Nugent, April Wine, Moxxy, Aerosmith, Nazareth, Johnny Winter and the Ramones..... they were a kick ass band .....
