That's not the point. 90%+ of Quebec can understand English just fine.

It's a shame that language still plays a role in Quebec. The Habs should focus on winning and icing an NHL calibre team and not on wether or not the coach can speak french or whatever. Whatever. I think Therrien will last 2-3 years before the players tune out his act.

The Habs coach has a more prominent role than the province's premier (or the country's prime minister for that matter). You might as well call him Quebec's Pope. We want him to be one of us.
