Last Thursday I took 15,058 steps in a day.

Via my phones pacer app.

I average about 9K steps a day.

You can map your walk on Google Maps and then compute 2,000 steps per mile, it'll be close enough, unless you're Peter Dinklage or Andre the Giant.

Well my steps come almost entirely in the form of a zillion fairly short back and forths, up and downs, and roundabout zigzags within this 4-unit warehouse/office complex. I don't actually ever go anywhere but I take a lot of steps to do it.

I love my Fitbit. It will make you painfully aware of how little you move if you are house or office bound and don't make a conscientious effort to walk otherwise.
