My GF and I have the next 6 days off. Going to spend it in the house and doing the "spring cleaning" thing. Lots of wine and attempts at gourmet cooking as well.

Am I the only one that finds pleasure in staying at home? Maybe it's because of my past transient lifestyle. Maybe traveling just wears me out.

I am less stressed knowing this week I'll accomplish more in house then I have since I got here.

i'm a big homebody, that enjoys being about to couch potato and recharge my batteries.

My wife is big into travel and adventures and over the past 8 years I've really enjoyed that.

but still love a great lazy day at home, especially when there are tons of sports to watch and gamble on, or a great show to binge watch together and gamble.

you say your PAST transient lifestyle.... so you think the moving is done? its only about a year ago you were couch surfing in the anti-dentist peoples house
 
Just got back from a long vacation that was constant movement, it was taxing. Glad we did it, but it's definitely good to work in some relaxing time off as well. Go out to dinner, see a movie (if you don't usually), go to a local attraction, go for a drive or a hike. I think for it to be a successful staycation you should still do those "abnormal" activities so that it's different from just weekend/downtime, just do them close to home.
 
I will stay home and take care of Bart. I need to give him his bath and make him soup and feed him and dress him. He has a date on Saturday so I need to get him a hair cut too so he looks sexy and might get laid. Or if the date wants to do a 3sum we will do that and I will suck his cock really good and so will Bart.
