Monkayyyy how about G's wrister up high in a tiny window the other night to beat Marty B and a stitched up Schenn smashing a perfect SLAP PASS to ice it!

Ten in a row, Philly is one of the most feared if not the most feared venue in hockey these days!

Last night's game more of a yawner because Mason is a Brick wall these days!

I guess this isn't exactly on the topic of this thread but I don't care because it's ATA! Now go SLAP PASS Peanut a milk bone and tell her to stop, drop and roll because we are ON FIRE my friend!

LOL Bacon! Peanut is getting too fat! Never would have thought the Flyers would make such a turnaround! Not following much but one thing I do know, you need a "hot", "sharp", whatever goalie in the playoffs! Not confident if either guy CAN BE that but hoping for the best! Let me not think to far ahead, they haven't made the postseason yet!

Mason the the leagues comeback player of the year.

The snubs of this team, who should both be there over Chris Kunitz and one of Jeff Carter/Patrick Marleau, are Claude Giroux and Martin St. Louis.

The first of those guys has proven himself to be among the elite in the NHL for a few years now. Giroux is fourth in the entire NHL in points since the start of the 2010 season. Even crazier is that Martin St. Louis is first in the entire NHL in points since the start of the 2010 season. Thats right, Canada left off the #1 and #4 scorers in the entire NHL over the last four seasons off this team.

The problem with picking Canada to win in Sochi is that history tells us the country struggles at Olympic Games staged outside North America. In fact, the last time Canada claimed gold outside of North America was way back in 1952, when Team Canada beat the Americans in Oslo, Norway.

Exactly Mr.M. I'm not saying its impossible, but I doubt they can beat Sweden on any surface. If you take away the two times in recent History US and Canada were in the finals on the small surface they don't have many medals between them. And both those times Sweden loses to a big dog and the North Americans don't have to play them.

Time to bring back THE CANADA CUP.
