BTW Rubicon was canceled last week. Called it! I read that they replaced the whole creative team after the pilot - which explains the bait & switch (the pilot & intro credits were heavy on cryptography, then episodes 2-13 went in a completely different direction... big wtf)

AMC canceled Rubicon on November 11, 2010[4], stating that the show was "an opportunity to tell a rich and compelling story, and we’re proud of the series. This was not an easy decision, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a phenomenally talented and dedicated team.”[5]

Yeah doesn't surprise me either. I lasted about 3 episodes.

I can just hear fans of the show now. It was too smart for the dumb masses.

No, it was awkward and convoluted and it had a completely unappealing lead actor.

Okay the appeal of the lead is a matter of opinion - but after recently watching the Pacific I really wanted to get that off my chest. But anyway I stand by my assessment of awkward and convoluted.

I started watching the season 2 premier of The Walking Dead but ditched it after ~20 minutes. I'm done with it.

The people were doing stuff which was somewhat interesting, but then zombies came along acting like zombies so the people had to hide from the zombies but of course they can't stay completely quiet so some zombies find them and threaten menacingly - and I was like, "Jesus Christ, how many times can they keep having this exact same scene? Over and over and over."

Ironically, The Walking Dead might not be bad except for the zombies.
