Serious question....should Stevie go to the ER?

I appreciate all of the advice guys. We've decided it's most likely a Staph Infection because no fang marks or white ring from the wound to the red, we should be able to get it to go away in house. From the looks of Recluse bites and from what Senco said I would be having symtoms I do not have right now if it were that.
 
if it starts to kill all the skin there and gets really nasty, do yourself a favor and call around before going to the er...br bites are extremely common around here...most, if not all, get sent to a dermo guy to have the the bites cut out....i believe its about the only real way to make sure its all out of the skin....and a shit ton faster than waiting at a hospital :yes:
 
Stevie, better keep a close eye on it if a staph infection! Usually minor unless the area gets worst looking! Be careful if you get fever or sick cause it might be traveling in your body even though area doesn't look that bad!

Staph infections can be very serious Stevie. Keep an eye on that. Hockey players get staph infections for dirty hockey gloves, elbow pads etc.

Staph infections can spread like a flesh eating type of disease. I wouldn't fuck with a staph infection.

Yeah Monk and Puckie I've been reading some of the horror stories of tissue damage, etc so we're keeping a close eye on it, crazy stuff. No reportable symptoms i.e. fever, etc.

I appreciate that RR we've more or less isolated it to an infection.

Listen up you miserable fuck, my fiancee's health and well being is not something I am willing to tamper with, I am not a doctor. I will try to help him figure out what it is and take care of him, but I will not tamper with his health. So this time, I think it is best that you STFU unless you are willing to show some actual concern for his well being rather then being a spiteful, hateful, useless waist of our time.
Didn't your mother ever teach you "if you have nothing nice to say, to say nothing at all"?
 
I'm about as far from a doctor as you can. Everytime I goto the doctor and explain to him from a logical/creative/physical background of how I think my attempt to solve my problem would work he laughs. He then gives me pills and sends me on my way.

With that being said I wouldn't go pay for it. I'd just medicate :420: and enjoy life.
