A baby born with the virus that causes AIDS in Mississippi appears to have been cured, as scientists announced Sunday that the two-and-a-half-year-old child has shown no signs of infection after being off medication for a year. The child received aggressive treatment just 30 hours after birth and would be the second human in the world to be considered cured.

Have you noticed that since WWII when big pharma took over the world no diseases have been cured? They make more money selling drugs that prolong your life but not completely cure you.

When Jesus cured someone he was completely cured..he didn't give him a list of 50 prescription pills he needed to take for the rest of his life.
 
Saulty, I have that cynical view also! I mean if cancer was cured how overcrowded the world would be ....... maybe not overcrowded as much as people can't get jobs that support them now, so how bad would it be then! If they cured cancer maybe younger people with lives ahead of them should get it but a person say 75-80 might have to bite the bullet!

Sorry if it sounds cruel but decisions must be made ....... unless maybe if Magic gives the 1 million he offered to LeBron to something way more in need and practical ....... or Bono unlocks his wallet and gives his motherland a few euros so some of his fellow people can be helped! And politicians ........ nothing good to say bout them as a whole and they got their jobs without at least having some sort of talent like a athlete or entertainer!

I love sports but fuk players and also entertainers are way way overboard! OK, you wouldn't say no to the money but I might not be around but complete world revolution has to be coming down the road! Just in case I last as long as my dad, brushing up on some Spanish!
