Are you getting drunk/buzzed at the table?
yeah, I used to like that flush draw all in flop raise play. But I think it's old news by now. Most everybody will put you on a flush draw at that point. Keep those early bets low and try to make the draw cheaply. Somebody just might pay you off big once you make your draw with either a call or interestingly a bluff bet. Timid looking play can invite bluffs
Nothing I like better than a guy bluffing himself into my nuts![]()
Bacon you're almost making me wanna play poker again. The strategies and stuff is fun. It's just the people I don't like. Trying to take money from these sad sacks, or worse, losing to them ..ugh
Also women may be more dangerous than alcohol to winning gambling![]()
Probably better to stay at 1-2 for a while. Your time/high hand casino bonuses are not helped by higher limits. Plus there's probably more recreational easy going/there for fun people, at lower limit. Get a good couple of month of records before trying to move up.
Also I never quite understood how people count their mistakes in actual $ terms. I know that many do. To me almost all plays have relative positive and negative aspects. I mean unless you're accidentally folding your hand after all the betting is done:sparesomecutter:
