Excellent post, especially the part about Aussie/Asian markets.The part about legitimate books would be tough, they only seem to be in places where gambling is regulated. I would love to see a betfair forum and more talk about the Asian books and the Aussie shops and gambling scene, hong kong and horse racing,etc. Women are a godsend to any forum.

I called daimo a zipper head and was infracted. I made a thread after going into live chat for 30 minutes much to no avail and asked what was appropriate and what wasn't. The kid daimo can troll the entire forum spewing racial slurs at paco and mayan but the second I call him a zip that dumb useless bitch blondie infracts me. I don't get it and still don't so I made a thread. It was respectful and to the point. It is in the saloon. It was something to the point of asking what is allowed and what isn't. Lou said I am no longer welcome and banned me. Unstable drunk mother fucker.

In regards to jjgold, no clue. He deleted his skype and email address. Totally off the grid. Lou really fucked up this time. Time will tell though.

These are contradictory. The main people jjgold appeals to are kids who are going to turn it into a playground. JJ guarantees a flock of airheads.

You might as well say hire Kim Kardashian but make sure there is nothing about tabloids, reality shows, weddings and a large ass.
 
While JJ does attract the type of posters who can ultimately turn a good thing bad he is without a doubt a draw. What you need is a hybrid JJ. Someone who has the ability to draw posters but is capable of tailoring that draw to the sort of clientele your forum desires.

Now if you had someone who could make sports handicapping entertaining as well as profitable, well then you would have the Holy Grail of Sports Forums.

Naturally you will need the more technical group like a MonkeyFocker and Durito because even though it's not "OMG" that's so cool it does serve a purpose.

You also need a assortment of female posters to add a lil sex appeal and feed the delusions most internet nerds have of actually one day getting a real girl. I would however avoid a ball-busting rooster envying female being put in a power position though.
 
Makes forums better for who? For owners? Take SBR model with two tier reward system and tier 1 attract action with a kickback system but structure so it's not breakeven but not so bad that it doesn't attract accounts. tier 2 change reward system to % of losses reward kickback for selective accounts screening for advantage play. Take collecting casino/poker referrals as well eventually.

If your goal is to have a good sports betting forum for gambling information it'll never happen unless you somehow align financial interests. Edges are propitiatory. You have various good stuff spread around but it's a rare occurrence and sadly gets incorporated into the market eventually. Poker is a bit different but it's the same to a certain extent. Look at Brunson and SS and his regret, along with all the literature and training sites. The games have turned to shit because of it.
