This is a simple recipe to prepare a delicious and tender roast beef. The recipe is for a 2 lbs roast beef. The ingredients and material needed : one hackled onion, three peeled carrots cut into slices, one quarter of a cup (62.5 ml) of Bovril Liquid Beef Bouillon diluted into three quarter of a cup of water and one bowl that is a little bigger than the piece of meat.
Step to follow : 1. Put the onions in the bottom of the bowl. 2. Put the roast beef on top of the onions. 3. Put the carrots around the roast beef. 4. Pour over the roast beef, the mix of Bovril Liquid Beef Bouillon / Water. 5. Preheat oven to 425 F.
6. Put the Roast Beef into the oven for one hour. 7. When the roast beef is half baked (after cooking time : 30 minutes), turn over the roast beef and let it bake for another 30 minutes. 8. When the roast beef is done, turn off the oven, open half way the door of the oven and let the roast beef into the oven for about 15 minutes. This will helps the fibers of the roast beef to tighten up, as a result, the meat cut will be easy. 9. Ready to degust. :)

I usually add some little green peas.
 
That looks like some real cooking. When I do roast beef, I just stick it in the oven at ~350 until the meat thermometer gets to medium rare. Then I tent it under aluminum foil for about 20 minutes while doing whatever potatoes I want and slicing up some raw onion/tomato/lettuce/whatever.

I'll keep this recipe in mind if I want to fancy things up.
