Why do you say that, Robyn? Since our own prehistory, humans have encountered situations stemming from truly irreconcilable differences, when the options were seemingly to either walk away or attempt to settle the matter with fisticuffs. Thanks to our own evolution and ingenuity we now have a third option, to wage "war" without any possibility of physical harm to either party. We know that when men of power and determination find themselves at cross-purposes, conflict soon follows. Would it be evil to fly to CR with a pistol and challenge John to a duel? An online "attack" is the duel of today, where one can achieve victory not through strength of arms, but strength of mind.

False. It was deleted, ask Pavy. After I made the thread they made it visible again. I'm not retarded. The thread was not under "my posts" and I searched for the thread by using the title of the thread and only 2 threads appeared, none of which were the one from last night.
 
I'm confused. Why are you allowed to post at EOG or Rx or Peeps as well as RBS and not be bothered at all, but here your account gets fucked with? Are we really THAT much of a threat?

Since when does my internet activity away from RBS get to be policed by them?

FWIW, I have no problems at SBR. Despite being accused of being aggressively anti-SBR on their forum lately - and being quite active here - PM's and everything have worked fine with no interruptions.

Interesting. Maybe it is only special-case kind of guys. I wouldn't trust OTW to keep his cool over there, either.

They're restricting the user accounts of people who sign-up here at GL, Mike. I went down to San Francisco for the weekend after joining here and when I returned I found my RBS account had been completely stripped down, no search function, no PMs, can't view pictures or attachments, and on post review, all while I hadn't even logged onto their site. I e-mailed a couple Mods but nobody will answer, I guess they really needed a vent for their anger at us over leaving. Anybody got friends who can DDOS a forum?

I PMed WB about it ( my PMs werent restricted) 1st response he said I wasnt restricted, but than wrote me back that I was, but he didnt know why and I should contact Dozer or Lou.
I emailed Dozer about it and shortly after everything was back to normal.

I asked them to get you back to normal posting. Glad they did because I would have raised hell if they didn't.

RBS likes to be in control of everything. I had a decent following of my tennis picks in the tennis forum at RBS. I had their e-mail addresses from prior exchanges and when I left RBS, I sent them an e-mail telling them if they wanted my picks to check up on the tennis thread I had at EOG. I never once tried to get them to go over and post with me or any of that...I just said if they wanted to keep up with my picks...that's where they would be able to view them. Sure enough- I get an e-mail from Willie The Douche Bee going nuts on me and telling me not to send links from other websites TO THEIR E-MAILS! Who the FUCK is he to be telling us what we can and cannot send to someone's private e-mail account? The balls. Pathetic. That's what RBS is...really.

Damn, some of you guys are nuts. Am I right that you left voluntarily? Sorry, disagree with you here, there is nothing manly about taking a site down. To me it's more like slashing somebody's tires or snitching on someone, you're angry but afraid to resolve your issues in person. Carry on.
