I have set out to win The New Yorker's Cartoon Caption Contest.

I've submitted a handful of captions over the last year, with no luck so far. Apparently Stephen Colbert is really angry at them for never choosing one of his captions, and Roger Ebert needed to try over a hundred times before he won one.

Let's show them how it's done.

Last year almost all the favs won outright their bowl games. This year almost all the dogs won their game outright.

I got my calendar situation straightened out by the way. Went with the kittens. There was also a Mother and Baby calendar. That was the other prime candidate. It had 12 different species of animals with a mother/baby of each. It was pretty great.

Finally just went with the kittens.

I hate rain. Christmas was raining all day and now New Years has been raining all day. I just hope Easter is not a rainy day. Easter egg hunt is no fun when it rains.

We played golf today. I played ok and won a little, one of my partners played equal to me and won a little bit more and our 3rd partner (we played a 5-some, 3 on 2) shot in the 90's and recieved a check after the round for $1040 dolars cause the guy he had an individual with played him $500-$250 on the final 2 holes.
