As long as one parent has EU citizenship that parent can "sponsor" their spouse to live in an EU country.
Children get citizenship if the parent is already a citizen.

In most EU countries (but I'm speaking specifically about Italy) citizenship is a birthright of children born to Italians, country of birth is not a factor.

being able to work/live in the EU would be awesome. Unfortunately I am limited to Ireland and the UK. Looked into relocating to the UK but it really isn't worth it. I can't live.work in London on 45K. Make far more and live way better here.
