I don't think she's noticed. Babay monopolizes her time. Not a bad thing, I can go for bike rides after work and she doesn't notice. No notion of time.

That is uncertain. She stops getting paid in 3 months, goes from full salary to nothing at all cause she doesn't pay into EI as a postdoctoral fellow.

Future is uncertain.

I can easily support us three but it would suck. We're supposed to save up for a house.

Is she thinking about going back to work at all? How much is daycare where you live? I know out here it's mad expensive.

City-run daycare is 95 dollorz a day. Not a typo. Net cost is around 45 a day after subsidy and/or tax credit.

Home daycares tend to be shittier but more affordable out of pocket. Still, hard to spend less than 40 a day.

She's technically going back to her old job next year, but she might start looking for something once they stop paying her this July.
