Speaking of Cuba I emailed the guy I stay with in Holguin - he rents me a room and I consider him a friend and the email bounced, no longer in service. He was a university prof and taught English and we would communicate via his university email acct.
I'm wondering what happened to him, hopefully he just retired and is still alive.

In the past I'd shoot him an email give him my travel dates and ask if he had room for me. He always did. No monkey business at his place, never would even think of bringing girls back to his place, I always had other rooms in town where I would meet up with my lady friends.

Gus would then talk to a couple of other friends I made from previous trips and both guys would be around when I arrived, I always brought some goodies for my pals, socks, dvd players, old cell phones, etc etc, Gus asked me to bring him a can opener of all things.

I figured out these people all talk to each other after arriving late one night and going to bed and then getting a phone call from some chica first thing in the morning - how the fuck did she know I was in town?

Yeah, I'd love to go to Cuba Reeto, but it doesn't look like it's in the cards for the next little while. I have a shiny new Canadian passport that hasn't been anywhere and I'd love to put some miles on it.

PS. I failed to mention that if you start Wellbutrin, you may not sleep for the first week...lol but that will wear off.

I saw the doctor today, just got back from the pharmacy.

I was given Cipralex 10MG, 20 tablets to get me through until my next Dr appointment. I asked about Wellbutrin and Dr told me they don't prescribe that first, they have other meds ahead of Wellbutrin.

Dr also told me that Cipralex is similar to Zoloft. 10MG is not enough but she wants me to start off with a small dose and will increase the amounts at my next appointment. She also said the meds should be taken at night as they should help me sleep, this is the opposite of what the pharmacist said, he told me itshould be taken in the morning as it may interfere with sleep.
WTF???

So he prints out the information sheet and sure as fuck it says : "may cause drowsiness" then a couple paragraphs down says : "side effects may include trouble sleeping" gee thanks.

I know for a fact that if it causes drowsiness I'm gonna fall asleep.
 
That's exactly what I'm on plommeurballs. For what it's worth I first couldn't sleep, then it made me a bit drowsy. First doc who prescribed it to me said it was impossible to predict the side effects.

Reduced libido is very common. :wah:

Gonna wean myself off it when the current prescription runs out in about a month. Just cause it turns out that my dizziness issue is/was a byproduct of my high blood pressure. Cipralex is having no effect in that regard, I still regularly get dizzy/unsteady on my legs.

When I was at the hospital a couple of weeks ago the nurse remarked that "I had the blood pressure of a 20 yr old". Which did not surprise me, all my life my BP has been a little low, it has never been high.

As for low libido, I already have a low libido, started about a year ago, haven't tickled a pussy with my tallywhacker in about 6 months now, don't really think about sex that often, I only pleasure myself to release stress, dunno if that sounds sick or not but I find my masturbation is correlated to how I do gambling. After a bad beat I'll fap, but I won't if I'm having a good day gambling.

My new doc is also sending me for blood tests, checking for diabetes etc, and scheduling a colonoscopy.

Since I don't work I have lots of free time to take care of alot of the medical things I've neglected for a while now.

Plommeur you might be surprised with how little fapping you do while on Cipralex. It has worked well for me in dealing with anxiety, but the side effects keep making me want to stop it.

I think I'll be fine fapping less. I gotta be close to the billion mark lifetime by now. Like the McDonalds sign "Billions and Billions served".

What other side effects?

So less sex drive and a permanent hard on. Sounds like hell.

Now the thought of the fucking meds is depressing me.

I don't think Canadian doctors get kickbacks from the pharmaceutical giants like doctors do in the US so they have no financial incentive to prescribe one medication over another. Doctors here are paid by the government of Ontario directly. Dr bills OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) for any treatment/consultations and Ohip pays the doctor.

Also, since I'm unemployed I am issued a drug eligibility card that covers the cost of most prescriptions, anything I'm prescribed must be on an approved list of drugs or I have to pay out of pocket myself.

Blittster the system here is less corrupt than there, pal.

My old family doctor of 20 years used to give me medication for free (sample packs).
 
I don't think I can sweat any more excessively than I do now. Today I was sweating profusely (profusement?) walking home from the docs office, was fukkin humid here in Windsor today.

Looking forward to winter.

Only been prescribed Viagra once, every doctor since has prescribed Cialis because it's effective longer than Viagra.
 




Wow. That's one I have never heard of...is this a drug only prescribed in Canada I wonder? I googled it and found this. It is from a Vancouver tv station. Did he tell you what he meant by "ahead of Wellbutrin?" Doc recently wanted me to go back on Cymbalta in addition to Wellbutrin to help with the anxiety that WB gave me (turned out that was only with the generic) Anyway, I was on it 3 days and could no longer orgasm. I still had a sex drive due to the Wellbutrin, and I could get all the way there, just not finish. It was horrible. It was way worse than having no desire. I thought in my situation I wouldn't care that much about the sexual side effects. Wrong.

The problem is the drug companies cover their butts by saying "could cause weight loss. could cause weight gain. could cause drowsiness. could cause insomnia. could cause high bp, could cause lowered bp." It's all a crap shoot.
