Last time the Kings won a playoff series I was 15 years old. Couldn't grow a playoff beard if I tried.

Today, my playoff beard lives on into the second round! Woooooooo!

Going to be a hell of a series. I think the Preds will smoke the winner of Chicago/Phoenix, and the winner of St. Louis/Kings should give Nashville a hell of a series.

Could easily see St. Louis taking the series; they are a great team. But as far as matchups go, I really like the way the Kings match up against the Blues. In fact, the three teams in the playoffs I felt the Kings matched up worst against (Vancouver, San Jose, and Detroit) are now all gone.

Exciting times. Big opportunity here to put together a special run.
