They probably are using instadebit to facilitate the transfer but are just skipping a step. Perhaps limits are higher.

While there are a ton of processors, now a days you dont even need a 3rd party to facilitate it, most every bank have it set up real easy for corps to use echeque. It's a great product for them.

e-cheques are fast and widely used in Canada.
There are at least a few ways to transfer money to people very cheaply and quickly here.
