San Diego State travels to Vegas and the friendly Thomas & Mack to take on the Rebels. While the spread should be UNLV -4, the way the MWC lines have been this year it could be anywhere from PK to UNLV -7.
UNLV is a tournament-ready club. Depending on the draw, they could certainly get into the Elite 8 without a problem.
SDSU's Steve Fisher is coach of the year without a doubt, regardless of how the Aztecs do in the tournament.
UNLV needs this game way more after the loss in Laramie and will probably get the job done. Still, SDSU at +2 or better is a solid play, especially considering that even though SDSU lost 4 starters from last year's team, four of their starters this year won on this floor twice (last year)...now I'm sounding like Vegas Dave.
If you look at SDSU's losses this year, one was in Waco way early, the other to Creighton who is very good, and they laid an egg in Fort Collins....Vegas is just up the road and if you look at SDSU's record in Vegas over the last 10 years, you'll see why.....
SDSU with the points is the play
