I agree with not guilty of murder. It was going to be hard to prove he planned this ahead of time to murder her.

He will be convicted for something for sure.

In the end gun laws will triumph again.

It's interesting. In many places, his exact version of events word-for-word would equal murder. It would be like, dude, are you not going to defend yourself?

But from what I gather, South Africans are possibly even more hysterical about guns than Americans. Based on what I have heard, the verdict does not surprise me and if they are accepting his version, he may not be convicted of anything serious at all.

i.e. - indiscriminately blasting bullets into I-don't-know-who-that-is based on vague suspicion of not-sure-what --> kind of okay.

Pistorius is the victim in all this, in case you were wondering. He is in an extremely fragile mental state resulting from the night he pumped 4 hollow point bullets blindly through the bathroom door into his girlfriend who was using his john.

That's the problem right there. People shouldn't just go using the john. Now he's a broken man.

Pistorius should probably sue her family .

The defense is calling witnesses saying how he shouldn't go to jail due to his fragile state.

Apparently it's somewhat rough and not particularly friendly, jail.
